Dirty, Sandy and Beautiful.

We had so much fun out on the lake over the weekend! My parents invited us out on their pontoon boat two days in a row! What a treat it was for us! The kids and I really enjoyed ourselves. It was fun, peaceful, relaxing, dirty, sandy and beautiful all rolled up into two days. I love the view out on the water. I love the gentle breeze on my face as we cruise up and down the lake. I love to see the dirty, muddy and sandy faces my kids get while playing at the island. I love to hear their screams of excitement and rolls of laughter as they play in the water.  I love how all the boaters wave to
each other as they pass by.  I love how the water sparkles from the sun beams. I love the gentle rocking back and forth from the waves when the boat is docked; which could easily put this momma to sleep. We had a wonderful time.

The view is different on the water compared to on the road looking at the water. I would love to own a boat of our own but it's not in any of our future plans. I am appreciative that my parents have one and invite us for joy riding out on the water from time to time.

Here are some pics of our dirty, sandy and beautiful weekend....

1 Timothy 6:17
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

I love seeing the view out on the lake. It reminds me of the beauty God created. He created for all of us to enjoy. The calm water with the green trees in the background. Stunning! God is good! Being out on the lake is one my favorite things to do as a family. What is one of yours?
