Dad's Peanut Butter Fudge

Yep! You saw that right! Dad's Peanut Butter Fudge! Is there anything better? It's a simple recipe but our family favorite!

You will need...

2 cups of Sugar

1/2 cup of Milk
1 tsp of Vanilla
3/4 cup of Peanut Butter *I use creamy.

Instructions:

In a sauce pan add the sugar and milk. Stir. Bring to a rolling boil then let it boil, stirring often, for 2 1/2 minutes. Take off heat and add peanut butter and vanilla. Stir well and pour into a square dish to cool. Let cool completely. It will harden and set as it cools.

My ingredients.

Milk and Sugar at a rolling boil.

Poured and smoothed out the hot fudge to cool.

Cooled and ready to cut.

Ready to eat! Yummy!

I know you want to sneak in a bite to taste it's yummy goodness while still hot but it will burn your tongue so wait until it is cooled off. **SHHHH*** don't tell anyone but I have placed this in the freezer to speed the cooling process because of my lack of patience on waiting to eat it. :)

  12. Starla, thanks for stopping by on Word Filled Wednesdays! I can't believe there are only four ingredients in fudge. I'm super sensitive to sugar, so it's recipes like these I'm still waiting to find a good substitute for. I'm drooling over your images, and your strawberry pie brings me back to my childhood in Ohio! We used to love picking them ourselves and making treats!
