Recipe: Avocado Sauce
Avocados are so yummy! I like them on my sandwiches, in my salads or just on the side sprinkled with salt. They are good for you to! According to Healthiest Foods, they are good for your skin, cardiovascular health, diabetes, weight loss, and arthritis! Yummy and good for you to! Awesome!
This Avocado Sauce is super yummy as a chip dip, over tacos, over flautas, pasta and more. You can make it thicker or thinner depending on your preference. It's easy to make as well.
1/2 Small Onion
Small hand full of Cilantro
2 Cloves of Garlic
2 to 3 Ripe Avocados
Salt to taste
Place tomatoes and jalapeno in a small sauce pot with water. Boil till soft. Reserve liquid. Place soft tomatoes and jalapeno in blender or food processor with the rest of the ingredients. Puree. If needed, add 1/4 cup of reserved liquid, at a time, to blender/food processor to get desired consistency. Use this Avocado Sauce with your favorite foods. Yummy!
